Why it exists

Most advice about website copy tells you what good copy does. It persuades. It connects. It converts. All true, and none of it helps at nine on a Tuesday night when the cursor is blinking in an empty headline box and you have a job to quote in the morning.

What helps is a structure and a set of prompts.

That's what this is. Seven sections, in the order a visitor actually reads them. Each one tells you what that part of the page has to do, gives you the formula, then asks you specific questions. Answer the questions and the copy is written. Paste it into your site builder when you're done.

Most owners who are unhappy with their website think they have a design problem. So they buy a new template, swap the photos, move the buttons around. Six months later the phone rings about as often as it did before.

Time to complete: about ninety minutes, or three thirty-minute sittings. 29 pages, 64 fillable inputs. Every external statistic is sourced on the page or it isn't in the book.

What's inside
